Arctic Floor Light

A sculpture that emits light, the Arctic Floor Lamp brings the density and drama of cast Dalle de verre to floor level. Hand-cut from solid cast glass, each piece carries irregular broken edges and raw cut lines that give the material a living, almost pulsating quality.

Positioned as a floor object, the light pools and scatters across the surfaces around it, an anchor in a room, as much a sculptural presence as a light source. Like all Arctic pieces, no two floor lights are the same; each one is shaped by the individual hand of the craftsperson and the inherent character of the glass itself.
