Bodo Sperlein and the MENU Exhibition have featured in Italy’s leading newspaper la Repubblica, for their Milan Design Week coverage.
Highlighting the Orchid sculptural pendant lights, suspended in a striking ascending formation above the altar, the feature reflects on the power of contemporary design to transform and respond to historic spaces. Set within the Anglican Church in Brera, MENU explored the dialogue between light, materiality, and architecture, creating an atmosphere that invited reflection as much as discovery.
The Orchid lights became a focal point of this narrative, their sculptural presence drawing the eye upwards while softly illuminating the church interior, bridging contemporary form with the historic grandeur of the setting.
