COVE COLLECTION
Conceived specifically for the outdoors, the Cove Collection is not an adaptation of indoor furniture, but a considered response to the practical and aesthetic demands of exterior living.
Designed by Bodo Sperlein for Gravelli, the Cove Collection creates a statement outdoor presence through sculpture, material and craft.
Exploring the limits of cast concrete stone with Gravelli, Bodo has created an Outdoor Kitchen of flowing and elegant form, whose silhouette reads as an architectural sculpture, rather than an appliance. Contrasting with the concrete stone of the base, the terrazzo worktop introduces material richness and adds to the handcrafted quality of the piece.
Available in numerous different colour schemes, the kitchen adds a sense of luxury and design to every exterior it stands in.
Along with the Outdoor Kitchen, the other piece in the Cove collection is the Cove Outdoor Bench. Following the same flowing lines of the outdoor kitchen, the Bench appears as a monolithic sculpture, which integrates seamlessly into gardens, terraces, and public spaces.
Bodo designed this collection in order to explore the complexities and strengths of a fascinating material such as concrete. Designed for Gravelli, the design-focused sub-brand of the cast concrete masters Godelmann, the collaboration marks a deliberate step in combining manufacturing expertise with international design vision, further positioning concrete stone as an architectural design medium.
