AD GERMANY - 05.2025

This spring, AD Germany asked Bodo Sperlein and other AD100 designers about what they believed to be the most important kitchen innovations for 2025.

Bodo answered with his observations of a shift in the kitchen space towards sensual solutions. In particular, Bodo pointed out that the kitchen of the future is not a short-lived, trendy item, but a long-lasting piece of furniture.

This shift can be seen in Bodo Sperlein’s recent design, the S-Line for Orea. This design features ‘organic, sculptural forms combine[d] with high-quality materials to create a timeless unity’.

One of the greatest examples of this timeless unity can be seen in the S-Line, with the natural aging of the surfaces lending the design depth over time.
