The Cascade paving stone translates Bodo Sperlein's organically flowing design language into a modular element for squares, promenades, and urban gathering places. Its softly curved geometry sets a deliberate contrast against conventional orthogonal systems, producing surface patterns that are rhythmic, dynamic, and alive.
Produced by Godelmann from mineral, predominantly natural components developed through decades of in-house material research, the stone is also available as a Climate Stone: its permeable structure supports rainwater infiltration, reduces urban heat island effects, and contributes to a healthier city microclimate. A paving stone designed to perform as well as it appears.
