In January 2016, the iconic German home entertainment brand, Loewe appointed Bodo Sperlein as Creative Director.
Loewe are responsible for the world’s first electronic film transmission made in 1931. Today they remain a leading name in home theatre technologies.
As part of Bodo’s direction for the eminent brand, Bodo and his studio have reinvigorated Loewe’s creative brand language by composing new advertising campaigns, imagery and products.
Loewe Bild 9 and Klang 9 are the first in a series of designs we have produced for Loewe that highlights our distinctive collaboration with the Munich and Kronach based company. Bild 9 is a linear sculptural range that draws inspiration from minimalist pictorial line and perspective sculpture.
Working closely with London based agency Studio Small and the team at Loewe, we have been working to redefine the brand internationally. Our design direction encompasses products and point of sale environments alongside, product campaign photography, packaging and brochures.
To coincide with IFA, we worked together with Berlin events production agency, Prop House to design the Loewe Raum pop-up event. Located on Berlin’s renowned boulevard, Unter den Linden, Loewe hosted the two events in partnership with Architectural Digest, Andreas Murkudis and Blau magazine.
Due to be launched in Spring 2017, to showcase an international preview of Bild 9 and Klang 9, we initiated two key events in Berlin. In collaboration with Culde Sac, we provided art direction for the design of Loewe’s stand at the prestigious IFA exhibition in Berlin.
