Part Time Studio Assistant
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to be involved in running a busy, award-winning product design and creative agency.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self motivated individual to join our studio team based on London’s iconic Southbank. You will be assisting the Director and Studio Manager with the diverse range of tasks that are involved in the day to day running of our studio. The position will require someone who is willing to apply themselves to both routine and ad hoc jobs in a primarily administrative capacity.
The Studio Assistant is significantly involved in the operation of the business and is integral to supporting the Director and the team in representing and growing the organisation. This role would suit someone with a keen interest in design and previous experience in administrative role.
This role is a part time position, 2-3 days a week.
Salary £18k - £20k pro rata, dependent on experience.
Pick up and action emails
Assist the Studio Manager with organising travel and accommodation for business trips
Diary management for the Director and the team
Liaising with a broad range of professionals including manufacturers and photographers
Deliver exceptional customer service to both clients and collaborators
Assist with the organisation of events and product / project launches
Processing purchase orders for stock, retail and hospitality orders
End-to-end invoicing using our accountancy software
Maintain an organized filing system of paper and electronic documents
Stock monitoring and recording
Assisting the Brand and Communication Coordinator with social media content creation
Active interest in design and the creative sector
Motivated, with a great attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines
A team player with own initiative, problem-solving skills
As our studio is also a store, previous experience in a public facing role and sales would be preferable
Strong IT skills in Excel, Word
Skills in Adobe Suite would be helpful but not essential
Excellent organisation skills, administrative skills
Approachable and polite with good communication skills
Fluent English speaker, other languages would be an advantage but not a necessity
