Bodo Sperlein

Agent Provocateur

2001

Working closely with Agent Provocateur Co-Founder Joseph Corré, Bodo Sperlein designed and developed the award winning iconic fragrance bottle.

The opulent shape of the bottle echos Agent Provocateur’s sensuous brand image, a significant element to take into consideration when collaborating with global leading brands.

Originally produced in porcelain, this design set Agent Provocateur apart from its competitors and their accompanying glass bottles available at the perfume counter. Historically recognised for its luxurious and elegant qualities, porcelain was traditionally used for perfume bottles to protect the scent from deteriorating.

Today, our Agent Provocateur design continues to house a number of their fragrances and is a product that has come to symbolise the brand. It is notably the foundation that has informed their wider cosmetic product range.
